DELAWARE, OH—Global challenges have increasingly become domestic challenges. There is more movement across national boundaries than ever before—of people, money, jobs, information and so much more. How do we make sense of it all here at home? As the community outreach arm of the national Foreign Policy Association (FPA), Great Decisions has inspired and encouraged the people of Delaware to play a vital role in discovering, discussing and deciding on how some of the world’s greatest challenges can be met. This year’s discussion series starts Friday, January 25 at noon in the William Street United Methodist Church parlor. Each Great Decisions session goes beyond the hype of the headlines to provide a real look at eight of the most significant issues facing our world today and how they influence the United States—in both policymaking and as a world power.
